This is the latest version of the logo* for YAG. I quite like it; and it should transfer to print or embroidery nicely, too.

I like the green field on this one much better. I mean the pattern on the previous one is nice, but it obscures the chinese characters.

I'm wondering why you decided to put "YAG" on top of the last character? I'm guessing that the character kinda looked like it was waiting to support something. Am I right?

I'm more partial to have the English text on the bottom and actually spelling out the full name.

What do you think?

It did seem to be missing something, since it's such a simple character (note: NOT a "simplified" charater).

Actually, as we discussed over the phone, it was more a matter of making the text fit into the design. It wasn't fitting anywhere else in a fluid or even less-than-awkward way.

I figure, I'll go with the designs the way I learned to go with colour schemes when painting rpg figurines: sometimes, they are just their own creations, and we simply are the means they are brought to life. ;)

But, to answer another way, having the English text was waaaay too visually distracting, between the vibrant color and the visual complexity of the characters, so it just didn't work to put it on the bottom like the other (YA spiritwear) logo I did.
